Numerous Vacation Rental Management Companies operate under a Florida Chapter 509 Non-Professional License issued by the Department of Hotels & Restaurants, are not Licensed Real Estate Brokers, have had no criminal background check and are not required to carry any Bonding, General Liability or E&O Insurance. By Law they can only manage the same property guests for a continuous period not to exceed one (1) Month less one (1) Day. They also are not subject to the same licensed high professional standards, stringent rules, regulations, Administrative Code practices, and escrow audits of the Florida Real Estate Commission.
